The company was founded in the 1960s in Chiuduno, the province of Bergamo with a family management. The initial production was focused on the structures for machine tools, but later the increasing productions in medium and large mechanical processing sector have taken hold, consolidating partnerships with the major manufacturers.
In the 1990s the company started collaborating with the major Italian companies producing valves in the Oil & Gas sector, by manufacturing components for Expanding Gates and Slab Gates.
Since 1994, an internal change has brought to a greater industrialization. The important step is characterized by the purchase of new generation machine tools and the expansion of the production units in Chiuduno with an increase of covered area. The presence in the Oil & Gas sector is consolidated more and more, becoming part of the company's core business together with the complete supply for the Automotive, Medical, Steel, Components of the Machine Tool and Packaging sectors.
In 2013 Rettifica Meccanica added a new production facility, inaugurating the new 9500 sqm production site in San Paolo d'Argon, with 3500 sqm dedicated to production.
